SKYLINE PRESS RELEASE:
Attached you will find the Open Enrollment Application for any 8th grade resident of Ann Arbor Public Schools, that would like the opportunity to attend Skyline High School in the Fall of 2012. Open Enrollment officially begins January 9th and terminates February 10th at 4 p.m., applications will be available online at http://www.a2skyline.org, at all AAPS Middle Schools, the Balas Administration Building and within Skyline’s General Office. Completed applications can be mailed to 2552 N. Maple Rd. Ann Arbor MI 48103 or dropped off in the General Office at Skyline.
****Jan. 18th Curriculum Night ****
Skyline will host Curriculum Night on Jan. 18th, with building tours starting at 5:00 p.m. and Curriculum Presentations at 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium.
Admission in to Skyline High School is based on:
1. Grade – Admission is for 2012 9th graders ONLY.
2. District Residency Requirement – Applicants must meet the district’s residency requirements at the time that the form is submitted.
3. Space Available – There are 100 open enrollment seats. If more than 100 students apply, a lottery will be held for the available seats.
The 100 students who will make up the fifth 9th grade class at Skyline High School will need to confirm their seat by March 2, 2012 and attend a registration/enrollment meeting on either Tuesday, March 27th or Thursday, March 29th.
